MrPieman is the brainchild of Thomas Romal. In his younger days, while staying in New Zealand, Romal regularly ate Kiwi pies. He enjoyed them so much that he looked for good pies during his frequent visits back to Malaysia. He then discovered, to his disappointment, that it was difficult to find places that sold good pies. Even if you did find them, they were costly. His disappointment turned into excitement upon realizing this could be an opportunity for a business venture.
Upon retirement, Romal set out to fulfil his dream of manufacturing and marketing pies. 1st September 2004 marked a historical yet humble beginning and the rest as they say, is history. From a home kitchen/hand delivery operation, MrPieman now owns a commercial kitchen. High quality products while maintaining low cost has always been the priority of MrPieman.
While our presence may only be concentrated around the Klang Valley for now we are looking to take on the rest of Malaysia as MrPieman’s pies are fast becoming synonymous to nasi lemak and roti canai to Malaysians.

We love our locally produced goods because it makes our pies taste so much fresher and it helps support and sustain our community. We source our ingredients from local farms as much as possible

TRC Resources Sdn Bhd (TRC) commenced operations on 1st September 2004 as a manufacturer of quality pies and other pastry products.
The company initially operated from a shop-lot in Kelana Jaya until 2011. The decision to move was prompted by the desire to broaden the customer base as well as to increase the production capacity. These objectives could only be achieved at a bigger location.
The new premises at 11, Jalan PJS 5/26 provided the space for additional equipment and to accommodate more staffs.
