This is the story of how the MrPieMAN brand / franchise, was created, its growth this far ….And the Vision for the future.
MrPieMAN is the dream child of a Malaysian – Romal Thomas.

“I was "hooked" on pies during my days in New Zealand. While on travel during work, I enjoyed consuming Kiwi pies on a very regular basis!

Pies come in many varieties. They are the favourite snacks for food-loving Kiwis as curry-puffs, nasi lemak (and) or roti chanai is to Malaysians.
However, on my frequent visits back to Malaysia I found to my dismay that, you not only cannot get a good pie but it also costs ‘an arm & a leg’ to get one! That's when it dawned on me that there might be an opportunity to start a business venture to manufacture and market pies.
When I retired after working as an Accountant for 33 years, I decided to set about to fulfil this Dream that had challenged me for a while.
BIRTH AND GROWTH
1st September 2004 marked the birthday of MrPieMAN brand of Pies.
It was a humble beginning, very much a hobby at the start!
Today, the venture has evolved into a nice little business. From "home kitchen / hand delivery", MrPieMAN now proudly owns a commercial kitchen and a few outlets to service his growing clients.
STRATEGY AND TARGET
Quality and cost will be the growth engine of MrPieMAN. With high volume and low margins, MrPieMAN gives the customers real value for their money.
MrPieMAN has now got a string of outlets in the Klang Valley and is soon to be in the rest of Malaysia. MrPieMAN is fast becoming synonymous with Malaysians as nasi lemak and roti chanai are staple snacks to them!
